Today we present to you our most recent project, MuPo - Musicians of Portugal.

MuPo is a Rhythm Single-player couch co-op game intended for console and desktop in which the player gets to play as a member of a band. There are 4 instruments available: Drum, 4 Set Drum, Marimba and Piano.

When starting a level, the players can choose the number of performers in the band, they can select their Mupo (character) and their instrument.

Even though we are still in early development, we have a few things to share, such as moodboards and inspiration taken from other media such as games, shows or independent projects.

Rock Band 4

In terms of gameplay, we want it to feel similar to Guitar Hero and Rock Band 4, yet to resemble the feelings of playing a relaxing party game with no competition. The whole focus of the game is to play different instruments and songs, but most importantly for us, to invoke a sense of happiness and co-operation as the players enjoy their time together in a band.

We hope to see you next week with more MuPo related news and announcements. Next week's post will dive in depth into the music aspect of our game and its relationship with the game design.
